Kate and David had a beautiful Costa Rica destination wedding at the Costa Verde hotel with the help from their wedding planner Meghan from Our Costa Rica Wedding. The Costa Verde Hotel is located on a coastal rainforest bluff nestled between Manuel Antonio National Park and incredible Pacific Ocean with vistas that will take your breath away.

Kate is originally from New Jersey, but bounced around a lot serving in the Air Force for 7 years and David is from the United Kingdom. They chose Costa Rica because they consider themselves “adventure buddies” and are big fans of exploring new places. They knew that they wanted a destination wedding, somewhere neither of them had been before and somewhere a little less than ordinary. Costa Rica quickly caught their attention through some simple wedding destination searches. They heard nothing but positivity about it from people when they told them where they were considering. An outdoor wedding, surrounded by a beautiful natural landscape was always part of Kate’s vision. With amazing photos everywhere they looked online and wonderful descriptions pouring in, they were quickly enchanted and won over. They also prefer action to luxury resort style trips and Costa Rica offered sooooo much more than just sitting on a beach. They had guest’s zip-lining, ATV-ing, rainforest hiking, waterfall rappelling, and white water rafting all week long! It was awesome! Costa Rica fit their dream (and frankly, their budget too!) of a new, exciting, adventure-filled destination that was simply visually stunning to boot! Couldn’t ask for more than that. Everyone that attended had such a fantastic time, they would love to come back and explore more someday.
